Meet the Director
Ron Egeberg is the Director of Brentron & Partners, he brings a track-record of successfully managing, developing and implementing strategic plans; within the arts, cultural tourism, retail, hospitality, events, government and media sectors.
Ron has an entrepreneurial approach, grounded in analysis, and in engagement with all stakeholders.
He has very strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; and is an experienced presenter and public speaker. He prides himself on his “can do” attitude.
Ron evidences success and achievement across both the private and public sectors, and across a range of organisational sizes and styles.
He is very conscious of delivering measurable objectives, and of delivering those objectives in many cases through the development of collaborative and highly motivated teams.
Ron’s capabilities have been recognised widely, including the award of the Centenary Medal for contribution to the Arts and Tourism in 2003.

Ron Egeberg established his cultural consultancy in 2012 following a distinguished career.
Ron’s success and achievement within both the private and public sectors, and across a range of organisational sizes and styles have included:
- Senior corporate management in broadcasting
- Key management roles in marketing, retail, tourism, arts, public and corporate relations, program and event management
- Leadership roles in strategic planning, project development and implementation of corporate objectives
- Established and operated own multi award winning business in the hospitality industry

- Manager Arts & Culture from April 2009.
- Manager City Attractions – January 2007 to March 2009.
- Manager Visitor Services – August 2005 to January 2007.
- Director of The Eureka Centre, creating greater awareness and promotion of Eureka nationally and internationally. Coordinated the development of Eureka 150 celebrations from August 2002.
- Director of the Ballarat Begonia Festival, Victoria’s premier regional Festival. 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 the 50th Festival.
Prior Career Highlights:
- Established and operated own multi award winning business in the hospitality industry.
- Senior corporate management in broadcasting including the role as the executive assisting the Managing Director.
- Key management roles in marketing, tourism, arts, public and corporate relations, program and event management.
- Leadership roles in strategic planning, project development and implementation of corporate objectives.
- Extensive management experience in retail, hospitality, tourism & economic development & media.
